LPM Dance work with specialist dance professionals to provide enjoyable, gentle, creative and health-improving dance & movement sessions for people living with Parkinson's and neurological conditions. Classes take place both online and in venues across Lancashire.
Wednesdays, 2pm-3.30pm with Dr Mel Brierley
We invite you to join us for these specialist, enjoyable, gentle, and creative Dance & Movement sessions. Dancing together re-connects us to the felt experience of moving and creates a sense of flow in thinking and bodily action.
Where- UCLan Dance, Media Factory, Kirkham Street, Preston
These classes are part of our Preston Moves program supported by Preston Council, The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund and Parkinson's UK
Specialist dance classes for people living with neurological
conditions and their friends & family. Led by Helen Gould and Beth Payton.
£3.50 per session, pay weekly, no need to book.
Classes can be taken seated or standing.
All sessions include tea or coffee and biscuits.
A class for all stages of Parkinson's and other neurological conditions. Sessions integrate a wide range of music and draw of different dance styles and themes. Over the duration of the class we explore group interaction to enhance the feeling of togetherness whilst grounding our bodies in our home environment.
Support can be provided to set up Zoom.

LPM Dance is a small, not-for-profit, artist-led dance company. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience the power of dance. We provide specialist dance classes for people living with Parkinson’s and Dementia. With your help we can continue to provide this much-needed support.
