For dancers and teaching artists new to working with people with Parkinson’s.
This two-day in-person course offers a comprehensive introduction to how dance can support people living with Parkinson’s. Grounded in an extensive body of research, the training helps participants understand the benefits of dance for people living with Parkinson’s and apply that knowledge in practical, person-centred settings.
Course Leaders: Dr Mel Brierley and Helen Gould
Helen and Mel have worked extensively in this field as practitioners and trainers. Through this training, they will share research-informed insight, practical approaches and sector experience to support confident, effective practice.
